ITINERARY:
In the morning an air-conditioned minivan will pick you up at the main meeting point in Zagreb and drive towards the Croatian and Slovenian border crossing Bregana and continue to Slovenia to Postojna. A visit to Postojna Cave – 20 km long chain of underground caves, passages, galleries, accompanied by a local guide. It is the largest classical karst cave and also the most visited tourist cave in Europe. Innumerable richness of stalactites of various shapes, colors and generations, calcareous sinters, tunnels, corridors, an astonishing diversity of karst features and easy access are certainly the main reasons for such popularity of the cave and a large number of visitors each year. Other works of art that nature has created over millennia and certainly its most famous resident – the human fish. The cave has a constant temperature around 10C. Sightseeing of the entire cave. After leaving the cave visit the Predjama Castle, with optional entrance to the castle. Free time to enjoy the beautiful nature park that surrounds the castle and lunch in a local restaurant.
In the late afternoon, departure to Croatia. Arrival to Zagreb in the evening.
